Tom Markle was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He began his career with the Jewelers’ Guild and received training and certification from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). In 1983, Tom opened his first jewelry store, Thomas Markle Jewelers, located in Kingwood. For over 30 years, Tom has been the driving force behind Thomas Markle Jewelers; and for him it all started with a dream and a wish. Since that time, Tom, his son Phil, and daughter, Sarah, have taken pride in getting the company to where it is today. We now have two convenient locations in The Woodlands & Memorial. In 2014, Tom’s vision of creating his own designer line came to life. After meeting with top Italian designers and our very own custom designer, the Thomas Markle Couture and Private Label line was born.

The family works together to give back to the community each year by supporting dozens of organizations from national, state, and local causes. Some of Tom’s most beloved philanthropies are the Montgomery County Youth Services and Mothers Against Cancer.

You can find the Markle family at any of the Houston locations mentoring and supporting the staff. Their success is founded upon the belief that every joyful moment in life is more precious than any gold necklace or diamond ring. Both Sarah and Phil guarantee that the legacy of the Markle family will be pushed to greater heights while building on the foundation Tom created over 30 years ago.
