Tom Markle was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He began his career with the Jewelers’ Guild and received training and certification from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). In 1983, Tom opened his first jewelry store, Thomas Markle Jewelers in Kingwood, TX. For over 30 years, Tom has been the driving force behind Thomas Markle Jewelers, and for him it all started with a dream and a wish. Since that time, Tom, his son Phil, and daughter, Sarah, have taken pride in getting the company to where it is today. They now have two convenient locations in The Woodlands and Memorial. In 2014, Tom’s vision of creating his own designer line came to life. After meeting with top Italian designers and our very own custom designer, the Thomas Markle Couture and Private Label line was born.
