Pomellato splashes the Nudo Deep Blue range of jewels with a beautiful new hue and precious diamonds. The joy of color characterizes each Nudo jewel, and the new sea-blue stone doublet dives into the reflections of Mediterranean waters. Rivulets of diamonds complement the ring's precious sky blue topaz and agate doublets.

Agate is a compact microcrystalline variety of quartz. The stone was named after the river “Achates” in Sicily, where the Greek philosopher Theophrastus first discovered it between the 4th and 3rd centuries BC. In the Middle Ages, wearing Agate was though to cure insomnia and ensure sweet dreams.

Sky Blue Topaz, once rare, is now created using modern processes like irradiation. As well as being the birthstone for those born in November, Sky Blue Topaz is the gem of choice to celebrate the 4th wedding anniversary.

The name diamond derives from the Greek ‘adamas’, which means unbreakable or invincible, probably because of its excellent strength. Pomellato in its collection usually uses colorless, brown, black, grey and icy diamonds.
